I was a decent young cricketer, whats called a good club player and I had several trials with some first class counties but every time I did I realised, no matter how good I thought I was or was in my own club world I would never make it as a professional , there were others that were better. If had of been taken on I would probably of had a miserable time and it may have put me off cricket for life.
